Analisis Teologi terhadap Penderitaan Nabi Yeremia dalam Perspektif Teologi Perjanjian Lama

Penelitian ini menganalisis penderitaan Nabi Yeremia dalam perspektif teologi Perjanjian Lama dengan pendekatan teologi biblika. Penderitaan Yeremia dipahami sebagai realitas teologis yang tidak hanya bersifat personal, tetapi juga merefleksikan dinamika relasi antara Allah dan umat dalam konteks perjanjian. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif melalui analisis teks, khususnya pada bagian confessions of Jeremiah (Yer. 11–20) dan keterkaitannya dengan kitab Ratapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penderitaan Yeremia memiliki dimensi multidimensional. Secara literer, penderitaan diekspresikan melalui ratapan sebagai medium teologis. Secara profetis, penderitaan merupakan konsekuensi dari panggilan kenabian yang konfrontatif. Selain itu, terdapat relasi dialektis antara penderitaan individual dan kolektif yang merepresentasikan kondisi umat Israel. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya kritik terhadap teologi retributif yang simplistik, serta pengungkapan dimensi penderitaan ilahi sebagai bentuk keterlibatan Allah dalam penderitaan umat-Nya. Dengan demikian, penderitaan dalam kitab Yeremia tidak dapat dipahami secara linear, melainkan sebagai realitas teologis yang kompleks dan relasional, yang memperkaya pemahaman teologi Perjanjian Lama.
